Are all household sanitising products the same?

There are lots of cleaning products available that have very similar sounding names. We’re often asked: if names are similar, don’t they do the same thing? It can certainly be confusing when trying to decide which product will work best for your cleaning. And of course, you can use your products however works best for you. But if you want to get the best out of Bio-D’s Multi Surface Sanitiser, All Purpose Sanitiser and Home & Garden Sanitiser, then read on…

I need an easy to use sanitising spray that’s good for quick cleaning jobs around the house. What product would be best?

Look no further! A bottle of All Purpose Sanitiser is the perfect solution. It comes in a spray bottle, so is easy to grab on-the-go and use quickly when there’s been a spillage.

It’s particularly good for using in the kitchen, as it contains orange oil which is great for degreasing.

The All Purpose Sanitiser is also a friend to parents everywhere. With children currently spending a lot more time indoors, the occasional wall or door ‘artwork’ will inevitably occur. This sanitiser works wonders on doors and paintwork, so you don’t need to worry about your little Picasso’s portraits straying off the drawing board.

It does what it says on the bottle and works as a great allrounder: it sorts out spills, cleans up your kitchen and freshens up any surface.

What product is best for cleaning floors?

Diluting our Multi Surface Sanitiser with water (20ml to 5L ratio) creates the perfect solution for cleaning large surface areas like tiled or other non-porous hard floors and large worksurfaces.

How do I clean my drains and bins?

It’s that time again: time for a deep clean, tackling the jobs you’ve been putting off for a while. No one likes cleaning the drains, bins or sinks but our Home & Garden Sanitiser makes this chore a little bit less painful by neutralising odours quickly.

It thoroughly disinfects surface areas and can be used neat of diluted depending on the level of sanitising action required, whilst neutralising fragrance with the addition of Eucalyptus oil.

Now we’re enjoying the sunnier weather, it’s a great time to get out the garden furniture and give your patio or decking a bit of a refresh. To get your outdoor space BBQ ready, simply dilute and use with a mop or scourer.
