These organisations think we rock – here’s why

At Bio-D we’re extremely proud to have gained external accreditation from a number of renowned, respected third party organisations who all think we know a thing or two about making cleaning products which ‘don’t cost the earth’.
On top of our endorsements from Cruelty Free International, the Vegan Society and Allergy UK, we recently gained a further certification, the BRC Global Standard for Consumer Products.
“Sounds fancy”, you may well be thinking, “but what does it mean exactly?”
Look no further - here’s an easy-to-digest rundown of all of our accreditations and what they mean for our customers.
BRC Global Standard for Consumer Products
BRC Global Standards is a market leading certification programme which helps provide assurance to customers that products are safe, legal and of high quality. Bio-D is now certified to the BRC Global Standard for Consumer Products – this means that through monthly internal audits, monitoring of suppliers and continual risk assessments on products and processes, you can be assured that our goods are supplied to a consistent high quality.
Our fragrance-free laundry products bear the Allergy UK logo – this means that they have been scientifically tested to a protocol developed by a panel of international allergists and scientists, and proven to have significantly reduced allergen content. Which of course is great news for allergy sufferers and those with sensitive skin.
Cruelty Free International
Cruelty Free International works to end animal experiments worldwide. Our finished products, ingredients and/or formulations have never been tested on animals and so adhere to CFI’s strict standards.
The Vegan Society
In the words of the Vegan Society, “By purchasing products registered with the Vegan Trademark, you are investing in the future of a market which is free from animal products and free from animal testing, which in turn has the potential to save the lives of millions of animals around the world.”
In addition to the above, we’re also a ISO 14001 registered firm, which means we’re recognised for ‘putting environmental management at the heart of operations to achieve sustainable success’, plus a number of our products have been given the Best Buy label by the industry-leading Ethical Consumer magazine. All pretty impressive, we think you’ll agree :)
